The cable adapts from the green and grey Volvo connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. A phono to 6 pin DIN adapter is also included to provide audio to the original amplifier in the car. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip and phone buttons.The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse output signals to the new stereo.This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. The patch lead links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA Volvo to DIN antenna adapter is also in the kit.
